Responsibilities

Business Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive business plans in alignment with organizational goals and objectives. Analyze actual financial data of the company and creating monthly dashboard for management review, performance metrics to provide strategic recommendations for business growth and optimization.
Financial Controls: Establish and maintain robust financial controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements. Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as necessary. Work on documentation of all financial policies and processes.
Financial Reporting and Audit (preferably Big 4 experience): Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, in accordance with IGAAP. Coordinate with external auditors to facilitate quarterly audits and ensure compliance with audit requirements and, implement best practices in financial reporting and compliance
Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with all direct and indirect tax regulations, including income tax, GST, and other statutory requirements. Prepare and file tax returns accurately and timely, minimizing tax liabilities while maximizing tax benefits for the organization.
Funding Procurement: Identify and evaluate funding opportunities from banks, financial institutions (FIs), venture capital (VC) firms, and other sources. Prepare funding proposals, financial projections, and presentations to secure necessary funding for business operations and growth initiatives. Experience in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and initial public offerings (IPOs) will be preferred.
